Dr. Linda L. Clark is a career educator who spent 43 year career as an Idaho teacher, principal, central office administrator and superintendent.  She served as superintendent of the West Ada School District (Meridian) from 2004 – 2015.  Dr. Clark has a B.A. from Boise State University, an M.Ed. from the University of Idaho, and an Ed.D from the University of San Francisco.  She has served on numerous boards, and advisory committees, including the Boise and Meridian Chambers of Commerce; Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA); the Discovery Center of Idaho; and on the Idaho K-12 and Higher Ed Task Forces.  She currently serves on the board of the Family Medical Residency of Idaho (FMRI), and as a member of the Governor’s Workforce Council.  Dr. Clark was a charter member of Digital Promise’s League of Innovative Schools, and in 2015, was one of 100 superintendents invited to the White House to recognize innovation in technology and recognized by Education Week as one of its Leaders to Learn From.  She was appointed to the Idaho State Board of Education in 2015 and is currently serving as its president.
